this is doable, though i got to confess that the whole maps are rather wonky at times, did a mrp script to get the files, the worst one to get is chuo_s, the last meshes do seem to do all sort of wonky shit and the textures for it i still have to find them.... exactly as stated before, the textures ...

Also a little update with no previews, by doing a bit of teating im getting the textures out by basically stripping the dxt raw info and triming to the desired size, its kinda time wasting, kinda lazy to try and program something to do it for me :P

moar research, seems that for some reason the tracks either have a slob or a mcomp(3 or 4) compression, offzip and the scan tool basically throw the same result, the mesh i showed before. the padding for the meshes seem to be a bit unconsistend and complicated to calculate... not sure if there is an...

Well, just here doing some testing aaaaaand i might have found another really interesting lead, using the comtype scan of quick bms did actually manage to unpack a whole .shapestream, both mcomp3 and mcomp4 algorithms manage to output exactly the same results that offzip got(but 1990 times repeated,...

So been lately trying to research gt tracks, specially akasaka.... And found an interesting lead... For now i have tried to rip geometry by dumping the ram of pcsx3 while loaded the game, and though it seems that indeed the geometry gets outputted as part of the information the game stores, its not ...

iirc the site was https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-pokken-ripping-tools-pack.426437/ and yeah, .mdl files are gzip compressed, with 7zip you should be able to unpack wmmt5, then you get .mdl files again, those need to be stripped into the nuds, for that you need to use csplitb, the python one sho...

hey there, for converting stuff from wmmt5 you just need to get the 3ds max pluggin for Pokken(.nud), it basically handles namco geometry files, its just as simple as importing each nud to 3ds.... google can help locating the pokken .nud script for max, else is just installing/copy-pasting it on 3ds...

Lel hello there people, on the itc xentax thread i recently posted a script for mrp that works for extracting geometry, cars in itc arent too different from trcaks but the script wont work, structure is different yet not impossible, been also working on txr3 and txrd2, though the geometry for tracks...
