Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
Some extracted file started with 34 AA FB 57 99 FA 14 10 02 00 03 00 ... Have you seen this pattern before? Yes. [34 AA FB 57 99 FA 14 10] is a Container_ID. It denotes file It can hold uncompressed data (meta) and compressed (actual file split into compressed chunks). you can see those all over fo...

Re: 2021- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Asset Extraction Tools
You need the latest version of the game, anything else will not work with this tool. Ubisoft has changed the code numerous times with the assets in the last almost 6 years. But the resources I need does not exist in the latest version of the game. I remember that Tushkan once successfully dump reso...

Re: 2021- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Asset Extraction Tools
Those are not even Rainbow Six: Siege archives or you have some really old version of the game as I can't even find what you mentioned. They are archives from Apr 2018 Operation Chimera. Do you know what has changed from the old versions to the newer ones supported by the RainbowForge tool? You nee...

Re: 2021- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Asset Extraction Tools
Hi, I tried the parzivail/RainbowForge tool v1.3.1, but the list commend gives me results that every UID are Unknown. Did anyone encounter this issue? DumpTool.exe list datapc64_merged_fury_bnk_textures0.forge 16: Unknown 3040: Unknown 14393231457: Unknown 14393258946: Unknown 14393239185: Unknown ...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
Updated site-packages and .blend scene. In theory it should import more stuff correctly. But right now I only tested it on a Smasher (1830.mesh). Imports all islands for given lod, assigns materials slots per island, assigns uv. Any unknown data is mapped onto vertex colors. Right now there are 4 o...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
2. You missed some .depgraphbin file when you were backing up outbreak assets, so now I'm lacking linking data between assets. I think it's the second one (can be proved on current full game build but I hadn't had enough time to check). What does it mean: either I will scan through all asset files ...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
If your forge chunks are compressed with zstandard, then you're 'up to date'. You can actually send me some small forge file to test out if it unpacks. Here is the link, have a try. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sii6e34kymrkgzl/AACb1BYKQODv47NDBY3Qv2TUa I believe these files are main parts of Outbreak...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
1. Plain old bytes analysis. Load a bunch of forge headers in 1-per-row manner and start noting similarities and struct hints. Then proceed with guesses and tests. I have seen files in your Dropbox. They are not clear for understanding, and I didn't find forge archive structure analyzed. Did you re...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
I think there is another way to analysis it, rather than stuck on PC version. Maybe we can get details from its PS4 or XBox console version. All of these consoles share mutual instruction set(x86_64) with desktop PC. Games designed for consoles usually do no virtualize and obfuscate, thus can be dis...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
Be aware you won't be able to get the actual unencrypted .forge archives. You should be able to halt the game and search through RAM for loaded data. There is a chance to attach and halt upon loading something heavy but I bet tat decryption code will be virtualized and very hard to read. Still, rip...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread
Hello, I am new to this forum and feel really happy to see a breakthrough here. You can upload your scripts to IPFS. It's distributed and thus can't be censored. I want some zombie models from the operation Chimera, but it was ended in Apr 2018. I have got an older version game, and related forge fi...
