Re: Dark Souls FLV file
With all the format documentation from this though it'd be pretty easy to write a script for Noesis to do all of that.

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
That's actually really cool. Doesn't seem to load the water meshes though.

If you need the Max 2012 SDK to compile a 2012 version I can send it to you if you still need it. I use 2012 exclusively so I'm unable to use the script as it is currently.

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
won't ever happen, mainly because Demon's Souls executable is compiled for the PS3's cell architecture, so it wouldn't run on an x86 system. Best you can hope for is added support for the file version Demon's Souls uses so you can view and export the files just like Dark Souls files. Although if he ...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
Amazing work, nyxo.
You should take a look at Demon's Souls after you finish with Dark Souls' file formats, the formats for Demon's Souls are pretty much identical to Dark Souls.

[Request] Virtual On PC version .bin and .img format
Dug up my old copy of Virtual On's PC port and thought at least one person on the forums other than myself would get a kick out of having Virtual On models. A Google search turned up nothing in regards to tools or even anything relevant to the subject, so I figured I would ask here. I've narrowed do...

Re: Model extraction from PCSX2 emulator
Didn't a recent update add a screen dumping function? I seem to recall some of my friends were excited about something like that but I don't know how well it works or anything.

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
The newest (edited) version of the script does, still no rigging though and some models crash Noesis now (Seath being one of them)

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
The error happens when I tried to run the program, which probably has something to do me fucking up compiling it since I've never used visual studio before.
Hopefully someone uses the work you did to make some sort of importer or something.

Who did then?
And why would you do something like that?

Re: Resident Evil: Outbreak room meshes (.nbd)
I lack the expertise to reverse engineer the format, much less code a program to import it, which is why I'm posting here. I think I pm'd you about the script you wrote for getting .amo into Noesis, did you get it? nbdx imports the room nbd's into obj, but messes it up in the process by smashing eve...

Re: Resident Evil: Outbreak room meshes (.nbd)
A tool called sld_unpack that came with nbdx-win. It dumps .tm2 textures, but the colors are messed up (maybe because the room textures differ from char textures somehow) nbdx already converts the amo it unpacks from the nbd into obj, it seems to not know some file types though, it says 'unrecognize...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
So, has there been any progress on anyone's tools? Or is this thread just dead?
