Re: Dark Souls FLV file
I meant when you export model to edit, does it also give you the skeleton so you have something to weight to?

Re: demon's souls FLV file
There's a noesis script on the last page that lets you export the textures.

PSN took fucking forever to download this shit, but I've gone through most of the files already. More pics coming soon-ish.

Oh god, that's cool as hell.
So the tools can spit out a mesh/skeleton for you to edit now?

Re: Demon's Souls .TPF
Thanks, this helps a lot. I guess the TPFs are different depending on what platform the game is built for.

Re: demon's souls FLV file
yeah, I was just about to ask about the partsbnd in demon's
Just need textures now, Texturefinder can see them but holy shit is it a pain to do this manually. We really need a script for the DeS format TPFs.
edit: didn't work with the partsbnd.dcx but it did work with the partsbnd. Odd.

Demon's Souls .TPF
A maxscript for Demon's Souls recently got uploaded, unfortunately, there still isn't anything that can extract texture files from the specific TPF containers this game uses. I tried the tools for other Fromsoft games like Dark Souls, but they do not work with Demon's Souls TPFs. Here's a sample of ...

Re: demon's souls FLV file
probably in 'parts' if the folder structure is the same. If you need textures you can prob modify Rick's TPF unpacker from his Dark souls tools to work with the 'older' Demon's Souls TPFs. Textures are in .TPF containers, the are straight .dds files. You can extract them with any HexEditor their nam...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
Wonder if it'll ever be feasible to add completely new worldspaces to the game. New levels and that sort of thing.
The model replacement is nice though, I imagine Nexus will be filled to the brim with nude models though.

Re: Final Fantasy XI .DAT (PC)
Thanks for the link. there was quite a bit of helpful info in there, Google translate makes my head hurt though. I'm assuming those scripts only worked on character models with skeletons? The translation chrome gave me was....difficult. Lucky you, I can't even get the page to load. Any chance you h...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
I went reading through the last page of the thread regarding porting the animations into max, and it seems that it does actually work and produces usable kf files that would work in Oblivion/Skyrim/whatever once you imported into max and exported it out again via the niftools plugin. the problem is,...

Re: Rage (idTech5) model format md6
So meshes are fine, but how are we supposed to get textures? iirc there was never a way to get textures for Rage models and we had to wait until the toolkit got released before we could get them in tga. A toolkit seems highly unlikely for this game.

Re: PC Lost Planet 2 (2010) maxscript
The only script I know of for the lost planet games is the one for the original game, there was also a .tex to .dds program as well but I have no idea if it works on the newer file versions. It probably doesn't though.

Re: Diablo III .app
Hey guys, been pretty busy the last couple of days, certainly with the D3 Expansion coming along. I've taken every piece of code I could find, dropped it into a max script and now I'm able to import the app files into max, completely rigged and skinned. It took quit some time to figure out how to a...
