Nearly the same as FC2. I don't know enough about modelling to make import/export tools, someone will have to take my work and do something with it.

Re: Far Cry 3 .FAT decryption

Might not be the best place to ask but...anyone doing research about game models? On my todo list, my Dunia repository has some work on Far Cry 2's model format, of which Far Cry 3 has a newer version of. http://svn.gib.me/public/dunia/trunk/Gibbed.Dunia.FileFormats/GeometryResourceFile.cs http://s...

Format is slightly different + they switched to CRC64 for filename hashes.

The closest "legal" solution without reimplementing it yourself is to make use of the XnaNative DLL installed on a users system.

Re: Dark Souls FLV file

Compiled versions of his tools http://www.mediafire.com/?dxarranbataxrsa If you want to correctly use these compiled tools, you'll need to grab the projects directory from the repo and drop it in that directory, or Unpack won't know any file names. I'm digging through the params and paramdef files ...

It's certainly moddable, the main issue right now is delivering new file content without having to rebuild the two >GB archives.

Format is virtually the same, just endian difference and a few differences in the header.

Not model stuff, but unpacker/unbinders.

Also, the texture format has changed from PS3 version to PC. Every texture is now a nice DDS file wrapped in the TPF format.

Re: Trying to modify a Unreal Engine 3 Compressed Package

Hmm, strange. I know that UE3 games can read uncompressed packages fine, I've modified packages this way for ME3 but with my own tool for decompressing, perhaps gildor's tool doesn't fix the header properly?

It would be more appropriate to ask about that on gildor's forum.

File name hash is modified CRC32, will have code up in repository later.
