Re: The Witcher 2

Interesting since my Steam copy of the game doesn't have those values. Thanks.

Re: The Witcher 2

Unpack is for dzip, not W2RC.

Re: The Witcher 2

My tools are generally made so they can be invoked by dragging and dropping a file onto the exe -- in this case drag pack0.dzip onto Unpack and it will unpack it.

Re: The Witcher 2

I've committed my most recent code which has W2RC related stuff -- though note it's not in any shape for saving this data back out, it's still in the research phase.

Re: The Witcher 2

I'm working on it now, it's a big complex beast of a format.

Re: The Witcher 2

It's a generic resource format that's used to instantiate native C++ classes with data, not specific to w2ent.

Re: The Witcher 2

Shop inventories are probably saved and regenerated "daily" (game daily), have you waited 24 hours?

Re: The Witcher 2

It does work as far as I can tell.

IE:

From pack0.dzip: engine\textures\icons\witcher.xbm
Placed in CookedPC\engine\textures\icons\witcher.xbm

The game will read the one on the disk.

Re: The Witcher 2

Don't need to, the game will override dzip contents with those that are on the disk.

voltagex wrote:Rick, that code is pretty cool, but it's missing Gibbed.Helpers - are you keeping it secret? :D
No, if you export with a proper SVN client it will pull it from an external.

Re: The Witcher 2

That's the compression scheme Witcher 2 uses in its archive files. As for the CDKey -- file names are obfuscated in DLC DZIPs using the CDKey.
