Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
MrAdults wont be able to respond for a little while anyway he is in the process of moving. Indeed. I expect this will be my last post for a while, the hotel I'm staying at for a while has no reliable internet access. Anyway, yeah, don't be vague on bug reports, it doesn't help anyone. State the mod...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Noesis 3.46 is now up with Python support. There's included documentation, an example script that exports geometry+weights+skeletal anims+vertex morphs to a made-up format and re-imports it, and numerous other scripts including one that handles importing Bullet Witch models+textures.

Re: MvC3 .ARC files.
i try 2 convert them with noesis but when i try 2 export it crashes :constipated: Noesis exports MVC3 mod files to obj directly, you don't need to use xandreale. yes i tryed but noesis crashes  I wish people would report crashes in the Noesis thread, and provide crash info and offending files...

Here, have some random 32x-antialiased 1080p/720p stereo renders in .jps format. http://www.richwhitehouse.com/otherfiles/3dpix.zip (viewable with nVidia 3D Vision Photo Viewer)

Re: Tales of VS .Chain/GMO
The offending meshes is tied to the same channels map as the some of the polygons on the model. If you export the with the bones, edit it in Max and try to remove the offending mesh, messes up the bones placement. So, would it be possible to add an option for it not to render mesh that has "sk...

Re: Tales of VS .Chain/GMO
Thanks. It was a crash from the line primitives. New release up to fix it. This release also has support to directly extract the .mgz files, with all of their contents. (they contain more than just GMO files)

Re: Tales of VS .Chain/GMO
I don't have that file, only the ones you uploaded. And yes, if you export it, you would have to delete the offending mesh(es) in Max/Maya/whatever.

Re: Tales of VS .Chain/GMO
There is nothing wrong with the bones. (obviously, anims play fine too) There is nothing wrong with most of the model either. On c001_00_00_00000030.gmo, go to Data viewer->Meshes->Mesh 3, double-click Skip render, and there's your evidence. Mesh 3 is probably geometry that's expected to be transfor...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
This has been the behavior forever. Never noticed it before for some reason... That PSK was exported by me from 3dsmax with the official tool and it didn't have any spaces in bone names. It also imports back using Gildor's ActorX Importer and there are no spaces as well. So it should still be a bug...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Is there a way to do batch exports with noesis? I must've missed the instructions for working in command-line somewhere. Also, in the event that two plugins conflict with each other somehow (like when trying to auto-detect format), how does noesis handle it? You did indeed miss the instructions for...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I've never looked at FF12's data, so as far as I know it could take a day or a week. No idea. It's been on the list of games to eventually look at for a very long time. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time these days to look at new games, between work and other active hobby projects, so it's bec...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Scanlines weren't being padded to a 32-bit boundary for import or export. New release is up that fixes it. BMP support is pretty halfassed anyway though, and only supports 24-bit non-rle images.

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
noesis no longer starts for me. I downloaded a version on 6/13 but then it froze and crashed and would no longer do anything I downloaded a newer version on the 21st and it failed as well. I deleted both and tried restarting and re-downloading but it failed as well. what can I do? What was the last...
