Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Any news regarding noesis or you're still busy Mr. Adults?? See ya. I'm still working on the next release, it's just taking a while, since I don't tend to get an average of an hour or so of work done on it every couple days. Maybe sometime in the next few days. I have a lot of features/fixes/additi...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
It's nice to come back after a few days and see so many of the things I would have had to address myself have already been addressed. Thanks for helping, Demonsangel. Very much appreciated. I wrote the contents of texData out to verify that it's actually a pvr image, and when I loaded it using noesi...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I have a question about loadTextureByHandler. Does the texture plugin have to be written a specific way, or does it only need to add a texture object to the texList? I'm using this plugin (don't remember where I got it, it was on these forums) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7stlpd4qvkq3096/-5bUxUQDfS/T...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Any idea what I"m doing wrong? http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=76829#p76829 I messed around some more but eventually gave up lol Sorry, I missed that. You just need to move your immNormal3f call above the immVertex3f call. immVertex3f is what commits the vertex with all of the other ac...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
In Noesis export of OBJ, it gives group names of g 0 g 1 g 2 etc. and so on. Some modelers don't like numeric names. Was wondering if you can change that to g m0 g m1 g m2 etc. or g group0 g group1 g group2 etc. I'll look into it, which importer(s) are choking on numbered names? Not sure if this is...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
The C++ API is shitty in a lot of ways, I think I've spent pages in this thread lamenting on that already. It was also a horrible decision to include actual component modules into the plugin project(s), that's something that's a pain in the ass to fix retroactively. Most things are a pain in the ass...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
You want to use toMat43_XYZ for Euler XYZ convention. If you have other conventions, you can easily code your own conversion by just generating a matrix with something like: mat = NoeMat43() mat.rotate(a[2], NoeVec3(0.0, 0.0, 1.0)) mat.rotate(a[1], NoeVec3(0.0, 1.0, 0.0)) mat.rotate(a[0], NoeVec3(1....

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I'll add a generic/flexible value/data user query function at some point. Noesis 3.88 is up now and I've switched it to OpenNI 1.5. That means if you were using the old Kinect implementation with OpenNI 1.0, you need to upgrade. There's a package containing all the files and upgrade/install instruct...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
How would I prompt for user input? There is no tkinter or wx module in the basic noesis kit. data = rapi.loadPairedFileOptional("File description", ".ext"), where ".ext" is the extension you actually want. It just throws up a standard file open dialog so the user can n...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Only 2 materials/UV sets per mesh are supported at the moment, if you need more you can always clone the mesh and apply the additional material(s) to that and subsequent meshes. Although this doesn't generally work for things that need more than 2 UV sets in a single pass, unless the others are for ...

Re: Gas Guzzlers Combat Carnage (.fsb)
I think some of you are overlooking the fact that this change is an inevitable necessity, especially because of where Xentax is hosted and where most of us are located. This is the only way to avoid the eventual destruction of Xentax. It's better to adapt now while we still have headroom to do so, a...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I don't generally accept donations in the context of Noesis, because I don't want it biting me in the ass at any point. But since this is for a real above-the-board feature that will be used for legitimate development purposes... if you're willing to cover all of my costs and let me keep the hardwar...

I'd be happy to, if you wanna send me all of the accompanying hardware.
