All files use the same compression it seems. But at least I managed to do this: Ship Data Research (Better image if you replace JPG with PNG) I believe those chunks that are composed of FE, F4, and etc. may be some form of compressed text or graphics even though before each ship stat is the ID for t...

I saw a site that had a conversion tool, let me see if I can get any information. Edit: So far I have found out a little here: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.portablegaming.de/hardware-nintendo-ds/8436-nds-audioformat.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=...

Thanks, thats step one, next comes figuring out the compression used. And I think that would require Deniz or john_doe. I'll see if I can catch Deniz about this if he has time after Cyberbykes. He like me is getting ready for exams near the end of the month or so. Hands tied and all. I dunno, my are...

Zone 66 (PC/DOS) - *.Z66

Ah, nastalgia. Yes, again digging up an old one. Some people still play this game (including me). It is a scrolling shooter/bomber from back then. I have realised that all files are put in *.Z66 and they seem compressed or at least seemingly. I will attach samples to see if that is indeed the case. ...

Unknown stuff from Metal Slug SW-001 PSX version

I don't really know what to make of these files but they are littered around in the CD: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XXFUKJO4 All I really need to know is... what are they? O_o I think one is some kind of image format or image aid but I can't make heads nor tails of them. They are TPC, TPV, SEL, and...

Ok, found the sprite TIMs and background TIMs I stupidly enough forgot all about >_<

I think this is the final TIM type used in the game (other than backgrounds).

Yeah, the images are perfect. Just the colors are slightly off. Shadeing remains intact. I was working to get an image to reference to that would show this best. But the quality of the rip is otherwise amazing.

Kudos Strobe, :D Alright! We've gotten somewhere! These are the art gallery pictures and a perfect oppertunity to get the right color map :) it looked good but I realised somthing... the colors are inverted! Which means perhaps the palette is backwards. :) The ripped version from JN (flipped): http:...

The bug that locked the file selection when a folder was entered is now gone. It runs smoothly now except it overwrites files when it scans another. And the images turn out flipped but can be fixed in an image editing program. So it looks good. The colors and such look right except for some backgrou...
