Re: .wz archive

It is more like... program goes everywhere... BAM, new encryption. Edit: Though this may not be a good show on the developer's part. I mean, lately, instead of worrying about making their game better they just focus on what extractor/decrypter programs are out there. Tsk tsk. If I was making an MMO,...

Re: Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana composition TIM2?

Sorry to bump this again but it seems to me that all data is contained and would require only some way to split them up as separate images. They are uncompressed, unswizled or however it is called and seem straight forward. Only problem is, no TIM2 programs convert/view them properly. The only thing...

Re: The World Ends With You (NDS) sound package

Oops! Forgot to say this, sorry! Leave out the "-x" option! Without it, it converts the streams and wavesamples to WAV making them all playable! I have tested this and all sounds are extracted and playable. Voices work just fine! :)

Re: The World Ends With You (NDS) sound package

The streams should all be playable with most common sound players. They should be WAVs.

Re: The World Ends With You (NDS) sound package

Hey, I have some news for you. You CAN extract the sounds and stuff at present, but not recompile yet it seems, sadly. -_- Here's a link to such a tool: http://nintendon.s6.xrea.com/ WANING: Japanese Go to the link under the first, it is the download page. There you will find NDS Sound Extractor. Wh...

Re: Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana composition TIM2?

No current TIM2 handling software can convert these images, I have already tried them all. Seems this is an Atelier specific format.

I've tried hexing it so that the next image is first but I don't know what the heck I'm doing...

Re: Mana Khemia (PS2) LZR Compression? Certainly compressed!

Yeah, sadly there is a second form of TIM2 that doesn't convert properly.

Re: Prince Of Persia The Two Trhones .MGB File!

If it is text then what is the use of extracting it if you can't reinsert it? I'd assume that is the point of this thread but it seems that asmxtx has the game but is not seeing what you are seeing. Not sure what to say here, are you SURE you are not confused or something?

Re: Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana composition TIM2?

Here's a whole bunch of compound TIM2s: Here In there it shows what TIM2TGA spits out. TIM2TGA does not support this form of TIM2. Any way a program that could split the compound TIM2 up into several TGAs could be made? The graphics are all uncompressed, the palettes are intact, and so on but the TI...

Re: Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana composition TIM2?

Here's another, it contains a couple pictures, a conversion of the top stuff and an example of a monster (Wolf).

Another example

And I'll also attach an example image of the pig.

Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana composition TIM2?

I used PCSX2 to dump data from the running game and came up with some interesting results, primarily uncompressed graphics of different items. Among these I got this which seems to be a TIM2 composed of several character sprite sheets each with their individual palettes and other data. When I use TI...

Re: Mana Khemia (PS2) LZR Compression? Certainly compressed!

Here's how the image looks after fixing it up some.

Edit: It'd still be nice to decompress the LZR files though. This method is rather limited and bears some odd results. (like the multiple image TIM2s that are currently nonconvertible)

Re: Mana Khemia (PS2) LZR Compression? Certainly compressed!

I think I found a rather difficult workaround for the compression using PCSX2 by making a data dump but this is of course timely and apparently I can't use Jaeder Naub to find them automatically (doesn't detect the correct length). So far I've only managed to use a hex editor to extract the title sc...
