Re: Modding Results
It is made by the same people who made the CD-i Zelda games and Hotel Mario. I don't plan to put in the grammar puzzles and such and make it a flat-out FPS. The game itself is hard to come by and features some decent music and laughable voice acting and animations. As a FPS enthusiast I cannot just ...

Re: Modding Results
Here are some results from me and Balder's progress on the I.M.Meen graphics exploration. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/ShinDarkfox/Screenshots/IMMeenLVL1.jpg An almost complete recreation of the first level from I.M.Meen in Doom Builder (hence the highlighted wall). Soon I plan that we'll ...

I.M.Meen/Chill Manor (1995 PC/DOS) Sprites [Compressed]
The IMG files are the containers for the textures. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/ShinDarkfox/Screenshots/MeenTextures.png Which I have been able to extract and apply to a map remake in progress for Doom of Level 1 of this very game. The palette had to be gained by doing a DOSBox memory dump...

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
I think you can start thinking of having the game completely unpacked (and not just dreaming hehe) Yup! CMPs, animated doors, and sprite are the last needed graphics. When they are decoded, consider I.M.Meen resources cracked. And in celebration of that, I'm recreating the maps in Doom with what we...

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
Another update: The palette file attached in the above post is the ONLY palette used in-game. Almost all textures are viewable and can be converted using TILEDGGD, however, animated sprites are not, but that's for later. CMPs map differently to the palette but all colors neccesary are in there. Thus...

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
Good news/bad news moment Good News: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/ShinDarkfox/Screenshots/MeenTextures.png The palette I extracted works with all textures AND sprites. Bad News: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/ShinDarkfox/Screenshots/MeenSprites.png Sprites no matter the setting app...

Re: [REQUEST] Warcraft 3 MDX/MDL conversion
All-in-all, I need a means to import properly, and export with decent quality in a format I can use with animation data intact and working well enough.

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
ALRIGHT, I extracted what seems to contain the palette we've been looking for!
I'll see if I can clean it up a bit. But it seems to contain the full palette.

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
Well, it is a memory dump, so it is a (not very big) single file. I'll need to run a special file search tool to check all files for the color matches.

Re: I.M.Meen (1995 PC/DOS) CMP format
Glad to see your still active too! Want me to make a running game dump and find the palette in there?

[REQUEST] Warcraft 3 MDX/MDL conversion
I found means to convert the geometry but this always strips the bone and animation data which I really don't want. There is a means to convert to a text MDL format, but the MDL itself is incompatible with any other translation than back to MDX. Now what I am aiming for is a means to convert to MD2/...

Re: [REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
Great! Palette correct! This makes the job much easier. And yes, it is the ingame rendering that does it.
The sprite I shown was 2x it's normal size. But yes, it is very detailed. In many games like this you do not often see the full detail because of the in-game scaling.

Re: [REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
Was that palette correct? The monster seemed correctly shown, it was zoomed in though. And I adjusted height/width. And I think I used the core RED palette in 3-byte format.
