Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

You've put more work on it than I, you should make it. Might be good to throw up your batch files/description of your process as documentation on how it was build may be useful for future reference. You can mention the starting point was just a scrape of lua strings. lol I think the unoffical lang ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

It would be really nice of you to make a github repository to track additions and changes, something like https://github.com/secaproject/MGSV-QAR-Dictionary-Project. Good idea. I'll let Tex create it if he wants to since he started it AFAIK. That would make it much easier to monitor changes and add...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

thrashed together C# programs for stuff complicated enough to need decent debugging. Decent debugging sounds nice right about now. I must have spent hours over the past few days trying to figure out why my files counts were so off. Apparently 'for do' loops in batch treat anything on the same line ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

The scraper is basically doing the same thing, so I don't know what's up with that. I think I found the issue. Apparently LangTool treats whitespace as part of the entry in dictionaries. I remember copy-pasting stuff between quotes so I'm not sure how whitespace got tacked on to the other entries. ...

> GOTTA GO FAST that looks like a lot of fun lol. The cardboard box might have similar parameters for sliding. That might be fun to mess with too. I was going to hold off on releasing anything until I get all of the vehicles tuned in a practical way, but now I want to release it under the name &quo...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

So progress update I guess. https://youtu.be/cKBZ4Fg5fj4 I've narrowed down whatever property was limiting vehicle speed modifications to a few possibilities. I still have to play with it to make it handle less... absurd. It seems to be a combination of .veh and .ph files in a vehicle's .fpkd. Tweak...

You may have found it by now but it's NightVisions.fox2 (\chunk0\*\col_common_tpp_fpkd\*\NightVisions.fox2). It has some parameters for the noise filter and tinting.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

Since the thread's dead again, I'll report something fun. I've managed to successfully add more animals into an area. I'm still tinkering with it, but I'm feeling good about my progress. Hopefully, I can make something worthwhile for TPP's anniversary. Update: Adding and moving animal spawns is sur...
