Forge Version 29
Ah, filename decoding currently only works on Forge versions 30 and above. I assume the data is still there for 29 and below but the format is different and I haven't checked how it's encoded on any older version.

Re: 2021- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Asset Extraction Tools

I tried but it always returns an empty string ... Wouldn't he find at least one name in the archive? I use DecodeName func https://github.com/parzivail/RainbowForge/blob/master/RainbowForge/Core/NameEncoding.cs Or I'm doing something wrong! Untitled.jpg It only works on roughly-Chimera or newer for...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread

https://github.com/parzivail/RainbowForge Just released a new tool in addition to DumpTool called AssetCatalog, it should make browsing forge files for assets (currently just meshes) and cataloging them a lot easier. It saves all of the information you add to meshes (names, categories, etc) to a lo...

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Models Thread

Thought I'd drop this in here, worked on this for a while and made some great progress working out some of the forge container formats, and worked out some ways to inspect containers from the top-down instead of guessing and checking IDs, as well as fix a lot of the format assumptions made by some o...

Re: Frostbite model tools (Battlefield 1, Battlefront 1, 2)

Whenever I try to "scan bundles" with UFBE, it finds 0 bundles in latest update SWBF removed all SB/TOC files. UFBE doesnt support this game currently. python scripts will not work either Oh OK. Any plans to fix the tool? The Frosty editor program is written in .NET, so it should be trivi...

[Battlefront 2015] .MESH and .CHUNK format descriptions?

Does anyone have a format description of the .MESH and/or .CHUNK files (or, a working importer) from extracted Battlefront archives? I'm attempting to write an importer all-in-one and I've been having trouble trying to create an importer based on the information I've found in the MAXScript someone w...

Re: SW Battlefront 2015 model files

Would there happen to be a complete file format description, or a Maya importer?
