Re: [SCION OF FATE] How can to get 3d model environment

I found an file txt which contain some infomation of model : vertex, faces... Is that file from the game or generated from somewhere else? For those YOM files, the format is simple, but it's tedious to do it manually. A few examples from 101.YOM, which seem to be the submeshes with the most polygon...

Re: Extracting simple models

or at least skeleton data? I wouldn't place "at least" before "skeleton" but no, nothing much make sense to me. I think you should put it clear first what you're looking for, else even if there's geo data there it might not be what you want. And where are these files from? A cus...

Re: Extracting simple models

My backup file contains some keywords like "biped" or "bone" in Hex Viewer, however I'm not sure if it's correct mesh or skeleton format, since that file is a combination of many files. Hope you can help me to extract it, or at least find a header and the end of mesh data only. ...

You still don't realize where your problem is. If you're asking for help, try not to make yourself too great a nuisance.
So upload the files instead of waiting for others to install the game even if they're willing to help.

Re: Argo Online map viewing

Hi again. I did not think it would be so difficult to add textures to the map. All that I have at the moment is a list of the images from the file mortalis.xterrain, which are used on the terrain...Any idea what I can do with this to add textures...? So this is supposed to be a jigsaw puzzle? It se...

Re: Detroit: Become Human

I was wondering why so many people came here asking for something that's too early to be done while neither can they provide any sample files nor can they contribute anything valuable to the topic, but just to ask some dumb questions despite the answer is known already.

Negative indices are allowed in obj format. It's just referring from the last vertex before current line, though people don't usually use this method.

You want to fully reverse engineering the file structure? That would require much more time than simply extracting the meshes.

Re: Argo Online map viewing

I tried to add faces to my script, but I get this error every time. And 3DS Max says that my faces are duplicated. For obj format the indices range from 1. output += "vn %f %f %f\n" % (red[0], green[0], blue[0]) Actually the RGB should be limitted to the 2D concept. Here for vertex normal...

Re: Messed up Normals (3DS Max)

I had a quick look and I can say it probably isn't the normals. If you check your geometry (move points, for example), you will see it's really bad and some vertexes do not weld together when they should, creating this awful effect. :) You can't expect a 3D app to weld two vertices belonging to two...

No, I mean the empty rectangular area inside the map square. There're still some vertices connecting the two point planes that're visible even you're from a perspective view.

Yes, I also gave this link in this message. Yeah it's from your message actually. I want to be able to use all of the resources that are in the game, and I started with maps. You know the word "map" sometimes can really be confusing, coz you don't know whether it's referring to a 3D or a ...
