It must be extract file tofile allnumbered crazy archives, then you'll get (may be use search about format .flver and tpf) all DLC's - I use that way. No have faster

Armors imported done, but lost coat lowers bones - that's nomoved to legs, need remake weights
Also - face bones are lost too, but what I think, that's all Soulsgames problem

The tools work with dark souls 3 too, with same .flver format. but in dark souls 2 I get *.flv with bindertool. You got the set inverted. I also got the same issue, but I have not checked other models.

That is a screenshot from the game. The issue is easy to see when you look at the chest strap.
