Re: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring .sdu files

The format is just headerless VAG files with names strung together. You have two options: - Wait until someone writes a script to support it. Here's the format for it, I'm just lazy to write BMS to support it (For anyone who wants to implement BMS for this): string "SRSC" goto 0x10 for eac...

Re: Battle of Europe .wpk

There are no visible name strings stored in this archive, which leads me to believe that no, there are no possible names (Unless they are hashed somehow in the file). I'm almost positive no one will be willing to figure out the algorithm, as there probably is not enough interest.

Last of Us Rendering Transparency

Hey guys, So been ripping The Last of Us Remastered models, and I'm having a bit of trouble on rendering this one properly. I have absolutely no clue on how to apply transparency maps to the eyelashes, eye overlay, and hair on ellie's model. Could anyone teach me how to render these transparency (th...

CSI Scripting Help

Hey there, Finished up basically reversing an entire image (First one woohoo!) And a pretty simple one to begin with... The only issue is I'm having trouble with one pixel format's color arrangements. Any time it opens up a "RGB888" image it works fine, but when I attempt to open up ARGB32...

The Last of Us Remastered XVAG

Hi, I know there's a thread already explaining how to de-interleave XVAG, but I didn't know if it was the same for PS4. I opened them up in a hex editor, and saw that the XVAG has it's own little Wav file kind of encoded inside of it, but cutting all the bytes before the "riff" part and sa...

Re: Eric's Model Importers + Archive Exporters :) (Noesis)

Hey, I don't know if this it the right place for this or not, but I'd assume so. Recently, I've gotten into writing Noesis python scripts (all thanks to mariokart64n's videos, I picked it up rather quickly), and I'd thought I'd share my work here. I'm not a total "master" yet at reversing...

Re: Davidson & Associates .res files

Still version 2 xD. Are you sure? I just tried extracting the zip files; you were right about the first one still being version 2, but the second time I'm 100% positive I put the version 3 file in. Screw it, I'll just link to the .res file directly: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dv2rbzdlh3f1lxk/i%20loo...

Re: Davidson & Associates .res files

I think you dropped in the wrong E2CD.res, it's still version 2 on my end :P EDIT: Transferred all of this over to a Noesis python script. Easier to read. Can be found here: fmt_davidsonassoc_res.py -Added support for version 4. if you can get the proper "E2CD.res" updated file that would ...
