I ripped and categorized every character in the game. Wouldnt take much effort for you to import your model into blender, then export to FBX and import it back into max that way. I know you said you don't have experience with blender.. but the import and export locations are pretty much the same as max under File > Export Since there is already a blend...

thats a silly question, theres are 2 afs files that are like werone and wertwo ... the others are fairly simple to figure out, like stg or bgm.. O_o werone probably means swim wear one

I only use readbyte and readfloat in maxscript.. doesn't get any simpler than that i'm afraid.

format wise doax2 and doa4 are almost the same. most doa4 tools or doax2 tools are interchangeable.
