Re: Saint Row The Third 3d models [*.gcmesh_pc]
had a quick look at it, the GC file holds the faces, and the vertices, but theres some odd data in there that doesn't line up... so there may be additional data aswell the CC file is the control file, but I haven't figured out how to parse the damn thing. the face section needs to be seperated, ther...

Re: (PC) Mega Man X8 WSX/WPG
the wsx filesystem looks simple LONG: Count LONG: Data Size LONG: Offsets (Loop*Count) I broke down wsx and examined the parts individually.. each part is different, and I haven't found out what all the components do. anyway I did find the geometry component, holding the vertex info. but I'm not sur...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
can you add support for dead rising 1, it uses CAPCOM's MOD format. can't find good docs on the MOD format, so I'm not sure what changes there are. but they won't open up in noesis under DMC4/RE5 spec. hopefully the only difference is a slight change in the header? http://www.mediafire.com/?bdoub34q...

Re: xenosaga 3 model??request
glad to hear, if you have msn my contact info is in my xentax profile. I'll be glad to help out with the format... I was disappointed with no bone parenting, so didn't take it past that. since the textures and how to link them was over my head aswell.

Re: xenosaga 3 model??request
i thought the info was all in this tread.? the extractor came from alucard.com? but the author did not provide source, only comments about the structure using encryption. I wasn't able to devise my own dumper, so theres something weird going on as for the model format, codeman did the core of the ha...

Re: DOAX 2 model problems
I was wodnering why I had never created a script for this, since its such a tedious action in 3dsmax :/ here I wrote this: rollout enaOpa "DOA Material Fixer" width:299 height:150 ( button btn1 "BIG BUTTON" pos:[23,18] width:252 height:57 label lbl1 "Script Will Copy the Dif...

Re: Nintendo 64 models
most people just use 3dripperDX on the dx9 plugin for pj64.. or the old plugin by lemmy that dumps whatevers in the emu to disk.
I know there are a few ROM tools for editing textures, probably models too. but I've never personally ventured into that

Re: DOAX 2 model problems
what do you mean by flat? I'm going to take a wild guess and forgive me if I'm wrong but do you mean how do you enable the texture transparency? three primary colours are used to makeup a single. Red, Green, Blue. in 2D formats they also added a 4th. this was called the texture mask. now more common...

Re: Onechancara Models: Can Someone Make Vertex Dumper
the maxscript was from fatduck, but since he sells them I can't post it.
also that model looks like it has bad face direction, not bad normals. 3dsmax isn't really capable of storing normals.. there always recalculated

Re: Dead Rising 2 (PC)
I did work on "Dead Rising 2: Off The Record" Just posting the progress I made with the format. I have meshes, materials, and the rig. but am having problems with all mesh files. I'll need to look more into the vb/ib pairing method the game is using my goal is to write a model exporter to ...

Re: Help! Project Diva
has way more costumes... millions O_O!! I had another look at the format, and my structures look more like structures.. but still got stuck on the same stupid area.. seems each vertex section has this huge header like area above it consisting of FF's and 00's of variable size. I was gonna try to sca...
