Hey rexil let me know if you find a cinematic model.. so far the mesh we found is the ingame one.. and doesnt reflect what is seen in the games stunning cutscenes..
but it is possible that they are all pre-rendered however :(

nope, the process is as follows -enable double sides OR repair the flipped faces so that they all go in one direction drawing 2 sides is easy enough in any rendering engine... but its just hiding the ugly truth. and you'll need to correct this to get proper shading when using any type of advanced sh...

just import the skeleton and attach the meshes. there local positions assume the position of their parent bone then they will position correctly

you are correct, only move vertices and UVs.. don't make an changes like deleting a face, or even breaking or detaching a face.. that'll cause the vertex count to increase. just grab a vertex, or UV coordinate and move.... "thats it" for my concept mod, I reshaped her body, then baked the ...

only thing I can do is add XPR support to my script that would allow texture modding... as for rebuilding, it would take alot more time and work.
