bug: it saves duplicates when the 'remove trailing zeroes' is checked. and i'd like to have a choice to output to another folder. build a copy of the folder tree, rather then converting into the extract folder.daemon1 wrote:Texture Batch converter

just for completeness and future extraction. the v2 capable script. tested on closed pts files and working in python 2.7 (sfm) and 3.5 (blender) and extracting both the live and upcoming v2 files. and it's alil bit faster. :D Hey duder! that's exactly what i saw. and i used the same version of the plugin. just apply the texture and it works. just remove doubles and you see the plain uv islands. yours are still upside down tho.

for the heck have a normal map too. doesn't belong to that model either. just got some lil more header. that doesn't help decoding either tho.

well... okay... then not. i gotta start cool toding from scatch again then.
jsuk... task at hand is decompiling a battlefront3 map. it's not exactly a simple model. nor about scripted conversion (yet?). it's about identifying the tons of meshes and formats first.

any chance to get the source code? i can't code gui really. neither wanna do from scratch. a pm'd be okay... not necessarily open. i'd just want to mod the gui a bit. and i got some extra complications. formats. xyzw verts, dual uv's and i might need a texture loader for the display. you know?!?
