Re: XMA transform

Hi.

So I tested these .xma files with your script and they all gave me errors, each with a different issue. Here are the files if you're interested:

Re: [Help] Final Fantasy X X-2 HD (steam) (*.vbf)

topher, I need to report something with your tool. I was extracting the FFX2_Data.vbf archive with your tool, and it was running fine until it stopped at the "version_config/northamerica.txt", and gave me a error about "invalid characters". Can you look into this problem, please?

Re: BandFuse .clt audio format?

If an experienced game file analyzer has time to look into furthering Bandfuse game file analysis (audio format and file indexing in particular), I can ship a copy of the game to him/her to analyze. But by shipping a copy of the game to someone, you are breaking this rule: 3. Do not publicly share ...

If that's really true, you should upload that txt list somewhere. Even if it's that long, since it's just text, it must be less than a GB, so you could still upload the file for people to download. Re: [Help] Final Fantasy X X-2 HD (steam) (*.vbf)

I think I've found all the filenames, though. I just prepared them Notepad++, but I need to warn you that these files are LONG and cannot be read with an normal text editor , what with tons and tons of lines and all... but for now I'll just leave topher to do the work. I don`t want to spoil the effo...

HugoPeters, just what exactly was your intention on working with this one? Couldn't you have just researched the files and be done with it?
Oh you say you want a PC version? If so, then why didn't you leave the PC porting work to Quantum Dream instead of yourself?

[PS2] Rogue Galaxy

So I came across a PS2 game that uses a rather weird header structure for the archive files. Case in point, here's a sample(I used filecutter.bms script for the bigger files): https://mega.nz/#!gYFkWThL!fHeU821O25RweOe0uRMifYRpFYuC9lBMNDfyV-P3kYY Included are the .HD6 files, which has these weird st...

Re: My quickBMS scripts

So, I tried your "EA ast extractor" script on an .ast file that I discovered on an Wii game developed by EA. however, it gave me this error: http://i.imgur.com/E4q3Ltg.png Maybe it's an undiscovered .ast file. I think the only way is to write a new tool for this format.
Unfortunately I don't know how to program a tool so... yeah, we're definitely stuck here.

Re: Atlus / Shin Megami Tensei series [PS2] (*IPS/IPU)

Excuse me for reviving an old thread, but after coming across a few games that use this format, it's confirmed that the IPS/IPU formats aren't proprietary after all.

Thanks TGE for the info.
