Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
I'm workin' hard on it right now and making good progress. Since the last time I posted, I've added another couple hundred bone names, resulting in well over 6,000 currently identified (but that's where I'm gonna stop for now before I get too side-tracked again), and also updated the script to use ...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
Just wondering, did you ever figure out what the .scene files were used for? I assumed it was something like the .skl but for maps maybe, I kinda enjoy sticking the maps together where ever it's needed though. (unless it's in like 500,000 pieces like Mass Effect lol)

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
How would this work in regards to the "filename.dds" and the complementary "filename_detail.dds", "filename_nm.dds", "filename_spec.dds" files? Would they also be auto applied? I've usually got by by saving a new image with detail file as a multiply layer on top of the main texture in an image edit...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
Compiling the respective hash-and-filename pairs into a separate "database" binary file and then building an array through the script does the trick! I honestly don't know why I didn't try doing this earlier. I honestly dont know why either! (I had no idea what you said lol, maybe) This is great ne...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
please excuse my general lack of know-how about all of this, but with the impending update to the model importer, will we then be able to use these season 4 files with xnalara? or are these files not compatible with that specific program regardless of the update? Once the files are in 3DS, what I d...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
Wonder if all that being more organised will help RTB test stuff easier? Means you don't have to scroll through all those files - it'd at least save time haha. I think with them being more organized, it could easily become less time-consuming at the very least. I wouldnt say it was all that time-co...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
I'm not sure what the policy is here regarding links but i've ripped the txmesh and data files from the final season episodes, spent a stupid amount of time sorting each mesh, texture, and skeleton files into their respective character folders, zipped them up, and uploaded to Mega ready for downloa...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
The closest we'd get to "new versions" of old characters, would be the TWDG Collection. I remember seeing pictures of a higher poly Christa and Chuck, and I can only assume that's what they were used for. Anyway, as for keeping the thread alive, I can only hope that RTB is making some swell progres...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
Gosh, I can't wait to rip these. I still have hope. I know right? As someone who leans towards making custom characters and stuff, Season 3's models are surprisingly limited in number. Season 4 will really open up more opportunities for sure. I guess all we can do is keep the thread active and hope...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
Just wondering though, a few posts back RTD mentioned 3DS Max crashing, does that mean he cant do auto port with materials? I wonder if he loads all the mesh parts at the same time, I find some maps refuse to load if you do it that way, you end up having to run a 3ds clean up thing to free the memo...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer
I’m gonna miss Lee, Kenny, Clementine and other characters in The Walking Dead. I wanted to see a sequel for The Walking Dead: Michonne but I don’t think that’s gonna happen because a lot of people hated that game. Years from now, the game's subreddit will probably be dead. I think the saddest part...

In what scenario would you rotate those bones 180 degrees though?Escope12 wrote:This happens when you rotate both spine1 & pelvis bone to 180.Maximmum wrote:Oh wow, i never had such problem thoughEscope12 wrote:I didn't noticed this until now but is this normal or is this a rigging error on all Walking Dead Models?
