Gamecube .snd files

Anyone have any experience with this type of file? I can't seem to extract anything :?

It comes from a folder named bgm so I assume there's music in there somewhere

How Lossy is Xbox ADPCM?

I ask the above question as I have many audio files from my xbox discs which are adpcm .wavs and I know adpcm is lossy but just how lossy is it? Is it better than CBR 320 mp3 or worse? They were quite large so I compressed tham using the FLAC codec (to preserve quality) but can I use another lossy c...

Finally got round to converting all the wav files from FF1.

As there were over 450 files, the command-line method would have taken me ages so I installed the xbox adpcm codec and batch-converted the lot with Adobe Audition.

If anyone is interested I'll post the link for them.
