Re: $200 for 3D export/import tool PS2.
Any idea what Game Engine this uses?
A place to download some of the content?
I'm not after the game.. just the model files and any related data(skins/normal maps).
May want to PM me with a address where I can get at these files.

Re: World of Warships
That's what I was trying. I created a simple app and was trying to find an offset where the decompressed size is. I have had no luck yet. Typically, they use Uint32s for everything as far as offsets or indexes. All the numbers seem too big. The only reference to BIN files, in what little bigworld do...

Re: World of Warships
Well, that sucks. Were you full-time employee? Could always offer to work at home if job is online or computer-related. Yes.. And no.. I can't. I'm a machinist I am giving up on the GameParams.data file. I can't figure it out. There has to be some kind of table in this file. IT can NOT be one giant...

Re: World of Warships
well.. They fired me for missing work because of this god damn flu I have. :( Seems wrong to me. I have been in bed 90% of the time since last Sunday night. It is a prefect example of a company caring more about money than their employee's health. I should of gone to work anyway.. at least long enou...

Re: World of Warships
Btw, length of vectors makes sense? Tirpitz bottom have a very tiny vectors, and lowest points not have any vectors. And if I check "Calculate normals on load", all vectors is same size, but hull normals calculated pointing inside - maybe a bug? Yes.. Its a bug. But the normals are wrong....

Re: World of Warships
I forgot to change the build version in the setup.
I'm uploading a new version.
I had the transform wrong for viewing the normal vectors on the parents.
Version 29.9.11 uploading.

Re: World of Warships
Just updated again .. Version 29.9.10 This adds visualizing the normals as vectors. Tap the M key to cycle off, mode 1 and mode 2. Mode 1 is per vertex and mode 2 is per face. I had to write a shader that uses a geo shader to do this. I actually had this done yesterday but I have been in bed with th...

Search for QuickBMS on this forum. It can test a file against hundreds of compression algorithms and hash/encryption signatures.
You don't have to search them one by one.
And it might give you some clues if you take a look at what the main executable is doing with it.

Re: World of Warships
Thanks for the input. I know its binary data.. after that it could be anything. Like you said and I agree, It's probably compressed some how. AND.. Its probably the XMLs that build the ships. I have 3 hex editors.. 2 can search for patterns.. None where found. It could be compressed using some trick...

Re: World of Warships
I spent the last few hours revisiting the GameParams.data file. I searched it for every prefix for every compression format I found online. As far as I can tell, its not compressed. I do know it starts with %BIN which is Bigworlds header for a binary file. There are NO strings I can read. Once in a ...

Re: World of Warships
Ships from World of Warships\res\ content\location\ship\ looks fine too, but child list is empty, and I think this list is good place to create submeshes structure (and groups) for exporting fully composed model, what do you think about this? No sure Im following you on this. I found and fixed the ...

I was not looping thru all child models. This was causing the last child to not show up. I also fixed this.

Re: World of Warships
I just uploaded version 29.9.8 of the editor. This incorporates some of the code from the Master XML Generator to find the children models based on their names. It works with or with out a master. Super cool! And working fine, but I not much testing it so far - really busy last days iRL. Lighting l...
