The dtx plugin for Photoshop can open all of your samples except for dh_c007_xunyegui.dtx

dh_c007_xunyegui.dtx seems to have the image dimensions at 0x1 and 0x3 instead of 0x8 and 0xA and was the only sample that worked with your import script.

Ok thanks, it turns out my version wasn't the latest so i updated to 2.0.1 and it provides some support for xmv, but attempts to play Star Wars The Clone Wars xmv files locks up the video on the first frame, your file didn't have this problem.

Fully supported? I have VLC player and it errors out with a missing codec message when opening xmv files. it wouldn't be practical to take a ingame screenshot... this only works on simple objects, with good lighting. Or, you can actually reverse-engineer a model format, so you can get bones and weights, which would be the SMART way to do it if you want models to actually use ... or you could just create whatever you want from scratch, but neither reverse engineering nor scratch making models is within the scope...

If you can get enough good images from video then you could use 123D Catch to create a 3d model from them.

While you can't rip models from video, you can use camera tracking software to create 3d objects from video.

I see your model is mirrored so you took in into Blender then to 3DS max? I didn't alter any files from your sample, I just opened the aetheradept.lwo file in 3D Object Convertor and relinked the diffuse texture(file6.dds) and changed the diffuse color to white. Apparently 3DOC flipped it on the X ...

It looks like the diffuse shading color is set too dark judging by the sample provided, when set to white everything looks normal.
