Oh my God, I was looking at that in HxD, but didn't realize it can be password. I thought it is some key from Windows Registry :D



But thanks for pointing to UPX, I forgot that .exe/.dll can be packed :)

Here's another case: game Aztec Tribe has .zip with password called AztecTribe.dat. I've used signsrch for scanning .exe and all of .dll files there, but non of them contains reference to ZipCrypto. Any ideas? :)

Hey guys, What to do in this case: signsrch -F hge.dll 10009f09 2273 function where is handled the ZipCrypto password [32.le.12&] - substracted 3 bytes => 10009F06 - open hge.dll in HxD, Ctrl+G, 10009F06, HxD wrote that file doesn't contains that offset (it ends on 0x4BFFFF) It's from game Akhra...

I can see file structure on the start and then goes all the files packed with zlib. But that's all what I can do :/

Hi,
I tried it with POEdit (first convert .mo to .po, edit strings and then save to .mo) and game runs fine. :)

There's always a way. But unpacking is much easier than packing. I'm not a programmer nor a BMS script writer so I can't do that. Maybe somebody else could make a packer. In that .dpk file is a path to the original .dds files used in building that game. Something like C:\AutoBuild\BuildUndergardenWo...

I've done it manually by offzip and then renaming the extracted and unpacked files (names may be inaccurate, i've just guessed they by .dpk file). It contains 8 DDS textures.
