Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
Ok I checked phrases in INT_8.wad and they are from DLCs like Scarecrow, BatGirl.... maybe others. When they will be out on PC, or when somebody will give me files from console version, I will update hash list.

Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
28CCF006_LOC_INT.wad file from AO "Arkham Origins" game WAD contains a lot of redundant audio, not used in game. Most of them spoken by female synth voice . These will have no proper names after unpacking, just hash INT_8.wad file from AK I'll check this. Probably that's from DLC that's n...

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
New version. Extracts all 13000+ files. These include: 600+ big xwav files, which are cutscenes. About 90 of them are multilayered, and these will not convert properly, because they need demuxing, and I don't know how to do it yet. Anyway, you said you don't need those. About 12000 small files, comi...

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
well, I found that this one will be easy, so today i made the first version of extractor.
It extracts first 1100 files and then fails. But you can already try it. Use it on xenon_snd.fpd and it will produce files what can be converted to WAV with TOWAV.EXE

Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
Did you try to convert files using ww2ogg? Do you know how to use command line or bat files? Did you change the codebooks for the one I said?
Use Google to find some tutorials.

Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
You are doing something wrong. Check manuals on Ravioli and ww2ogg. I even double-checked, and both programs work for me.

Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
I'm using RavioliGameTools_v2.8 and its RExplorer can succesfully preview those files
As for manually converting them, use packed_codebooks_aoTuV_603.bin
These are always present with ww2ogg since 2011

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
I'm now busy with NFS and then Darkness II is in queue. After that I can look into this. But as I said, I never worked with XMA before and I hope someone else would help you.

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
I used VGMToolbox. But its no good to extract all audio manually selecting its channels, frequency and offset. All these values are in this file, I can see them. You need some script or tool to do it automatically.

Re: Batman Arkham audio extractor with proper names
People tried that. It seems this is built into the EXE, so if we remove, say, spanish audio, the game doesn't play any audio at all.BallisticSmith wrote:if you choose to use the russian language, the game will automatically play english audio. So why can't we do the same process for every other language

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
That's the one! It contains all the sounds in XMA format, with separate headers. I think other people here know the easy way to extract them all. I just checked and manually converted a couple in the beginning.DevilQueen wrote:Here is xenon_snd.fpd

Re: Lost Odyssey unknown file type
Its UE3 and all sounds are usually in a separate file. Audio package, sfx package. Or WAD files.
