My aim was to extract models with bones, which can't be done with rippers. But this may work for weapons too. We'll know that soon.

Ok its not originally my tool, but I can make a version for NFS. They changed layout and compression codes. If one code changed, others may be different too.

well, if this will be similar to 007, i can easily do that. But it can be very different there. At least I'm getting 007 models from files, not from memory.

Ok i can't tell anything more, i need all your files. All 9 Gigabytes, the full DAT files. Or at least the first 2 DAT files.

Are you sure "audiostreams" folder doesn't have "fr" folder inside?

strange. Rick's tool contains data to extract french audio from Dead space 2. Supposed to work. Do you see any "unknown" files in DAT files?

I don't hear any problems in these files. Check you player and soundcard. Also its possible that your card is applying some digital filters in game mode.
