oh you mean the bone structure! yes it is present in the model; I just have it's visibility turned off so that I can modify the mesh easier... I put the script in here with other files. yes, just as i thought. These scripts allow you to replace vertices and faces, but they don't touch the weights. ...

I didn't know that had to be done...I don't even know how to do that... Model in game is not just vertices and faces. Every vertex must be connected to some bone in the skeleton. Usually to a number of bones with certain coefficients called weights. This is needed so that the mesh parts will move p...

XVAG splitter

This tool will automatically split XVAG files found in such games as "god of war" into individual MP3 files.

Just drop xvag file onto the tool.

Tool may fail on some rare files. Sorry, I have no time to investigate this. In this case, just rename such file to MP3 and it should work.

Model tool updated.

It now extracts model into 3 formats: .OBJ, .SMD and .ASCII. Only SMD file will have proper skeleton connected to bones. If NameTable.txt produced by Extract.exe will be in the same folder, bones will have proper names.

I don't see the skeleton on your screenshots. To make meshes work properly you need to have them properly weighted to the skeleton. Your game screenshot also looks like it was not done.

Note that its possible in those other games format may be slightly different, and may require 3 different tools. I've seen that many times.

This is what I did:

I took the quickbms LZS code, and rewritten it looking at the file data. It was all done correct, as luigi's code describes. So I don't know why script is not working, maybe some endianess issue.

There are about 10 characters here. It will be MORE work to write a tool than to get all the meshes by hand.

Getting bones will require some programming even in simplest case.
