this is a tool problem, i will fix this later.
as temporary solution, you can delete the ASCII sceleton in the beginning of the file (if you know the file format)

I've posted so many times. I extracted the entire Battlefront 2 Game with UFBE and all of useful files are .Meshset .Texture and .EBX Could someone show mw how to convert them to .FBX | .DDs or .Png | .Mp3 or .Wav Please don't redirect to crofty's website, i've tried or either I did something wrong...

the new tool i made - UFBE can unpack all unpatched files from Battlefield 1. No need for scripts. thats the problem i think. That version only existed for about 30 minutes and then i updated it, because that was wrong. You can use total commander from tutorial to rename chunks to lowercase

I know the swbf2 audio decoder is supposed to convert the ebx into to playable .wav/.mp3 files. Do any of the actual animations from lets say MEA, DAI, SWBF1/2, BF3/4/1 can be exported in any usable way? I read the whole thread again, and to be honest its discussed about the assetbanks in animation folder but I am a bit confused if they can be extracted/converted somehow. Maybe I missed somet...

why do you even have 2 complets ?

mesh tool for SWBF1 is old style, no auto chunk search. You have to give it meshset & chunk names.

I didn't extract the chunks, but I just started to extract all chunks, which I assume is going to be a while.
The filter doesn't quite work for chunks due to the names being pretty random.

Is there a better way to just extract the chunks that I need?
