Hi! Another game to see if something is rippable. Here is a .dat file from CHAR folder. In one folder there are these files: 0000.dat 0001.dat 0002.dat 0003.dat All of them are decending in size. It says on formats that it is a cryengine .cgf file. I wonder why it did not work with my importer then

You dhould make sure you have teh right button first
Then make sure you run in a window mode.
I looked on the net about model files. .CGF files are cryengine models. Tried an importer for max but did not work. That was a hit in the face

I use 3d VIA printscreen. It captures dx8, dx9 and opengl stuff. The bad thing is it creates flat .png files instead of .dds with alpha channel. And you always have to do some welding on the objects. there is an offline hack so you can enter the character select screen and rip some models. But, i cannot access weapons or other model armors and such
So, some DDS textures i already have, even specular and normals.

How can i take the textures that are baked? When i import the model in max i see the object but no texture. And i can't find it. There should be an option to extract them somewhere. I have googled now for hours and i find alot about oblivion and how to put in your own textures but nothing about how ...

i am at work now but manages to import it into max at my luncbreak
Didnt have textures though but probably easy to add. In the game there are some really nifty specular maps i want to have. I wonder if i can get them too. Are they also baked?

Another request. This time it is the online game REQUIEM ONLINE. I don't know what files to post really. There is a DATA folder with a bunch of .VDK files. I will post one called dat.vdk that is 6590kb There is another called object.vdk that is 419mb. I guess this is the one with 3d models and stuff...
