If we can manage to decrypt these files it will lead to the decryption key needed to obtain the animation files.

ps4 demo pkg's are useless without the decryption key stored on the console that is impossible to get for new games.
PT was able to be decrypted because it was on a vulnerable firmware where they could extract those keys.

algorithm 2 is definitely encryption. if you look at the size and compressed size they are nearly identical. you could try to find the file you want in memory while playing the game or if you can find an old and new file that are the same we could compare them to see if its an easy encryption like x...

you do know the game will not let you mod files.
you can reshape objects but changing them will crash the game.

They are just dds files that have the wrong header they start with hex 90 43 40 00 I just pasted a correct dds header on them. The mesh data is in there you can see the different sections just search for vaps If you want the models I would read some of the tutorials around here and I am sure people ...
