This game has me stumped as to what kind of compression is being used. I know it is zlib but I have never seen an archive like this. There are 2 files 1 file table (FreeJack.wh)and then the container for the actual files. (FreeJack.wa) The file table starts off with a list of all the folder location...

How about the archive be compressed twice? I means the archive has been compressed and the sub file is compressed too. For example ,after extracing still life 2 Sl2fnt.dat ,i get a ARIAL 64.RU. I love your Idea of writing a file extractor that could be customized through some type of xml file or settings dialog.
This would not be easy to complete but would be very worth it in the end.
The only ripper that I know of is jaedernaub but I do not know how to add file formats to it.
