I think he is just saying to look at the dds textures that are compressed because you know what the outcome should be. i ran some tests and these algorithms produced some resemblance of how the file should look COMP_LZ77WII_RAW30, COMP_PGLZ, COMP_PUYO_CXLZ, COMP_PUYO_LZSS, the best looking one was C...

they are modified zip files with the zip headers at the end of the pkzip archives.
the second problem is they are encrypted with a password.

Here is an updated script it shows how the bone id's are called in the files but i am not sure how the weighting is stored in the vertex section so any help would be great.

are there any examples of loading zlib compressed data with a plugin? or having the program read files from a zip archive?
That would give it a huge advantage over max script for me.
