First please always state what game you are posting about.
ok and to tell if its a valid .x file just look at the header in a hex editor it will start with

Yes any meshes that use physics I can not import. you will notice little scrunched up balls in the center of the model those are those meshes. If anyone can tell me how to read the 0x70 size vertex points ill fix the code to load those parts.

I am not sure put quotes around all your paths several people have gotten it to work no problem you are doing something wrong.

you have weird characters and spaces in your file path
you should try c:\input c:\output and do not use weird symbols like #

it does not use normal maps they define the normals in the model structure but max script cant handle that.
