the ps3 version is using the edge sdk.
that means its using bit level index compression and no one fully understands it yet.

just run it on the folder DATA\ART\MODELS\ it will extract the models folder and any folder under it. then put it in a new folder like DATA\ART\MODEL2\ if you want it to auto apply textures with the correct path you have 2 choices 1. place the new extracted model files into DATA\ART\MODELS or 2 plac...

If i play a game and like it or if i see models i may want or if i just look at a format and understand it i may work on it.

Inside that pkg file are edat files.
Edat files are encrypted DLC files with no way of extracting them.

you have to decrypt it first.

also that game is not using pkg files its using edat files which are encrypted with an unkown key.

Yeah i had the bones section figured out the problem is those 0x70 size vertex formations.

What game are you looking at.
Post a sample file.
Games can store bones many different ways.
Normally 3d animation programs store bones in a 3 x4 or 4 x 4 matrix so import scripts convert them to this format.
