Re: MSET RESEARCH PROJECT + FILES UPLOADED + SOURCES
Well i have updated my plugin code to load the associated ASET file instead of MSET. Now just have to create a working version of the conversion process and we'll be set. Looks great for the animations that are currently processed correctly by the viewer. i have attached the plugin here, and can hop...

Re: MSET RESEARCH PROJECT + FILES UPLOADED + SOURCES
Well, i'll modify my plugin to load the format a little bit later, once i can fix whatever the heck it is i broke in the code that is keeping it from working the way it is supposed to when i recompile it. i changed the format to support multiple animations per file so that it can be loaded in much t...

Re: MSET RESEARCH PROJECT + FILES UPLOADED + SOURCES
Hmmm, i guess if i had wanted to i could have taken the route Shapyi did from the beginning and simply output the matrix information from kkdf2's application. The first 2 parts of the KH2 MSET processing is just so simple it really didn't need the overhead of emulating the ps2 instructions for it, b...

Re: The Metroid Prime & Prime 2 .CMDL format....
The mpxviewer code will be cleaned up eventually. Will probably also be converting it to a Noesis plugin before that point though. Just made a few new finding in that regard, and hope to apply them. Once i have a better debugging option than Dolphin (or can get it to stop where i told it to again......

Re: MSET RESEARCH PROJECT + FILES UPLOADED + SOURCES
Sorry to be a bit of a downer, but the MSET format structure is actually rather easy. Unfortunately it is the processing of the data that is the difficult part. KH2 computes its Inverse Kinematics code through a series of EE and COP2 (VU0) instructions, which can make it a bit of a pain to staticall...

Re: ForgeX Beta Released
For those having issues running the current version, if you haven't already and trust the program, try running the application as Administrator (right-click, then select Run as Administrator or change the properties of a shortcut so that it always runs that way). This should help in a lot of cases t...

Re: Dragon Ball Raging Blast

Few more tests to run, and a number of bms scripts to write, and hopefully you all should be able to play around with things on your own, heh.

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

Still a few things i am looking into regarding the shader groups, and then textures should be visible, but i finally got around to implementing the basics i needed for models so that i could test more of the other areas i am investigating.

Re: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Model Format
i got started on it, but have not finished mapping the changes yet. i work on a lot of formats, and bounce between then in order to not get to burnt out on any single one. Also time away from a roadblock usually makes it easier to spot what i may have been overlooking otherwise. Not to say that was ...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor
For now i have just done a raw extraction of the individual file blocks. Unfortunately i have not been keeping up with the GTA4/RAGE engine research being done on other forums, so i am a bit behind at the moment on how a lot of the internals work, thus i am researching and reverse engineering things...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

Re: BioHazard File Archive Tool
Mark, i tried contacting you over at the-horror, as well as on skype/im, as i have the same problem as well. Considering the fact that i actually code with Visual Studio 2005 - 2010, and as such have both the end-user and debug runtimes installed, it makes me wonder what the incompatibility could be...

Re: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Model Format
i started looking into this back then originally, but got side-tracked and forgot about it, heh.
For the most part things are mostly the same, a few things have been changed and/or moved around though.
i'll see if i can pick up where i left off when i get the chance.
