Anyone interested/able to add PS3 support for this tool (in analogy with the gzstool)? Need it to "port" DLC PS3 weapons to pc...
I can handle most other files, but the XML files - if these can be decompiled - would save a lot of hex-editing time.
(see attached example)

MGSV_QAR_Tool ~ PS3
I've downloaded a PS3 vs (Duplex) to see if I could unpack the DLC files (like Shields, Suits, some weapons), but the tool returned an error: [MGSV_ QAR_Tool "<game_path>\master\7b9"\3dc8acbf53e78f06.dat -u -r -e2] MGS V QAR Tool v1.3.2 Made by Sergeanur ERROR: Unsupported QAR version = 0x826042ae C...

DLC suit
I'm trying to collect all DLC suit info (Tuxedo, etc), but can't seem to collect everything from 'D-Horse Western & Parade Tack'. I still seem to be missing some files here (like the "horns" on 'D-Horse Western'). Anyone has experience with this particular DLC? PS: I made some batchfiles to collect ...

Generate hashed values to actual names...
On pg 1, #Sergeanur posted the algorithm that is used to (de)hash the filenames. I can't do much with that so: anyone knows of a little tool that can do that; meaning giving a name based on hash-value, and vice versa (commandline would be great as I could easily write a batchfile). Reason why I'd li...

Re: ARchive_neXt
@Greenplumbbob: following is a 'sum up' of things I had done recently (in January). The problem is I can not determine what actually solved the crashing. If you plan to try this out, then do this step per step, reboot, rename/delete your [prefs.arx] and then run the program. and so on... Before inst...

Viewing issue...
I had some crash issues in the past, but those seem to be resolved now. Either the newest release did the trick, or I've done something on my pc that got it working... That said: when I checked out JacobFrye's outfit, I got this: [ http://imgur.com/a/zckWF ] (1st picture). So I asked #MichaelDarkAng...

crashing...
Tried this tool this morning. But whenever I clicked (any) '+' (expand) (like #MichaelDarkAngel showed on the prev page), the tool returns an error. I could "continue" but that was pretty much it. (tried several forge-files btw) Just tried again, and now it returns with an 'faulting' [lzo.dll]. My q...

Re: Extract Sound PCK files
...When I access [vo.pck], none (?) of them are recognized... I downloaded an updated version of ww2ogg (http://www.hcs64.com/vgm_ripping.html) and added those files in Ravioli's plugin folder (...\RavioliGameTools_v2.8\Plugins\ww2ogg) Everything worked out just fine from there. Thx, it got me in t...

Quickbms and Shadow of Mordor
first off, I'm not a bms-scriptor. end quote :) I've been working on this game lately, primarily writing batchfiles to ease export management (and some other similar stuff): see here (http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=12035&start=60). I was also interested to see if it could be possible t...

Extract .arch05 files
Based on my experience with the latest Update 2, I had to change a few minor things in the batchfile.

ps: I 've have removed the 'older' versions from previous posts.

Extract Sound PCK files
I've tried the BL2 script as suggest by #aluigi to extract the pck-files. One gets the "wav"-files, but they did not play, nor could I identify them with MedioInfo (Codex=FFFF) or Sox. After some digging, I came across Ravioli Game Tools (yep :)), downloaded its latest v2.8 (incl patch); and run [RE...

Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
Just a quick question: is translating the texts possible at the moment? I noticed that [global.arch05] and [hotchunk_Patch.arch05] contain 'language' files (ending with a ISO language code). When you extract those, you'll find [string.strdb] files per language. How to edit/update: no idea; nor do I...

Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
So, is it now possible to extract, edit and repack textures in this game? Someone give me a simple answer, please. see top of this page, and ask #zardalu how he is doing. Simple answer: yes, if a) you use the extracted/updated embb-file instead of the Arch05 file (which just gives me another idea :...
