^ And btw he means in-game render (photo mode). I know they bragged about adaptive tessellation, but I don't think they could get those results. After all it is a PS3, yeah ingame reder, but also when you move camera around in so called photo mode, you can see how detailed car mesh is... So it does...

Here is render from ingame of Lamborghini Miura, now with that low mesh this is simply not possible. ...yeap, premium models have more lods that standard models, since they are used for photo mode and when in photo mode models just shine.
I don't recall how good were track meshes from previous GT games, are these any improved?

I've got the _s file table, mesh info table, and fvf table parsed now. ...is there any table that states what is what car, since unpacked gt.vol file only gives names like 0000,0001,0002... in folders with similar names. And tracks as C001, T001 etc?

...wondering how many LODs do cars and tracks have, I presume that tracks have only one, maybe two lods, but cars? BTW, are all meshes mirrored? Cheers... No, the full mesh is stored. Cars may look symmetrical, but they're not.
