Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@amandabyyy Well, then the only problem left should be about difference between OBJ and TMC format. You know, TMC cannot have multiple UV coordinates or normal vector for one vertex, not like OBJ files. So it's going to be a bit annoying when people cut UV maps when they create OBJ files. I can gues...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Yes actually that would be enough. Painting weights is also annoying job to do even if we can get weight values from a new mesh. (: It could be difficult to get vertex tangent for normal maps, but I know it's not that essential requirement for mesh creating. Anyway, I can guess there's going to be v...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@amandabyyy
Sounds like you are shifting this game to tip of the end at a time.
Amazing.
When you import the OBJ file into TMC, are you able to get weight values and tangent vectors for new meshes?
You know OBJ don't have those ones.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

<Stick it back> for the bone x,y,z will bring great possibility in the future.

and it would be also great if I can select which UV to import when I import the mesh.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Honoka's body is simply a disaster. it's too different from other bodies to use as a master base body.

If anyone wants a better base body than a lisa's one, then the best one should be lei fang's one.

but you know,... there isn't one best thing. so mixing them should be a painful job.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@lsc

Yes, you know, in GeoDecl part, there' a value indicating MtrCol index, so by fixing it you can make another object just like skin object.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Maybe someone is already having TMC_Parser for PC version, personally.
I don't know who he is, but there're a lot of skillful engineers in this forum and it's no strange.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

right... its just I lost steam/motivation when I was looking into creating new models from scratch for 360. Though in terms of the format research everything should be fine, again just a matter of me not being a lazy bastard i guess if I'm feelin it maybe I'll try not to make it "useless, agai...

@NebulaUK
Works in here are not getting done by a few clever guys' simple tricks.
Lots of peoples are doing lots of research and lots of labors for their common interests.
This forum is not working for you. Please remember that.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@Prot

I guess, the mod he has modified uv, index order, bone size, vertex normal and tweaked geodecl as well as vertex xyz.
