Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
So do you confirm that the game reads of folders with extracted content?

The sample you posted is not a good one.
I can clearly see some zip dictionary ending headers on the bottom of it but local headers are missing. If the archives use zip format to store their contents that would make it a lot easier to make an unpacker

Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
What are the news on the repacking? Has anyone tried what I suggested? Tudelou. I personally haven't tried anything yet, i made some pretty serious and big fixes in the explorer. Now it works ok with the biggest archives as well (udun.arch05). 64 Bit memory offsets :D Anyway the script requires pyt...

Re: NBA 2K15
I used a program called Offzip to search inside the 2K15 files for compressed data. Looks like the DDS images are swizzled. I've made a topic over here http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=12076. It does not seem like a swizzled texture to me, it would be much worse. Something else is g...

Re: NBA 2K15
Would you then be able to re-archive the files? Thanks alot, by the way. Theoretically its possible yes, but its a very difficult procedure because of the size of the archives as well, they are huge. I also can't see any folder like structure l ike it is in other games, so i don't think that the ga...

2k15 dxt1 textures problem
I guess i am out of ammo :P http://i.gyazo.com/69ce03b5a962fdeaa2b1a2501faf4969.png I've tried a ton of things trying to get this texture to show properly. I am attaching the dds. The file got extracted together with its dds header and this notes that its a dxt1 512x512 texture with 11 mipmaps. Ther...

Re: NBA 2K15
NBA 2K15's archives actually open with 7-zip, except only two small files in these large archives show up. That's really all the info I have. The files have no extension whatsoever. Not sure If I'm allowed to post any archives. The NBA 2K modding scene is fairly large, and fairly popular, and I'm h...

Re: LZMA compression method in GZIP files
QuickBMS already supports lzma in gzip files, you can try: comtype gzip get SIZE asize clog "dump.dat" 0 SIZE SIZE Yeah it worked as well, the file was exactly the same size, and (unfortunately) looked exactly the same way. So i guess LZMA decompression worked like a charm in both cases :D

Re: LZMA compression method in GZIP files
I think i got it working using a wrapper for the LZ SDK, using the decomppress_compat function and passing in the data starting from 5D, i guess there is where the options start :D I got some weird textures from the files though :S http://i.gyazo.com/7c175edfd1cdd0c2aa63750fb422c46a.png I'm not aski...

Re: LZMA compression method in GZIP files
LZMA requires some encoder properties before it will decompress. With 7-Zip, they store it as 5 bytes. So if they're using the 7-Zip LZMA SDK, you'll need to find those 5 encoder properties bytes before you can do anything. Should i pass those excplicitly in the decompressor? or the decompressor re...

LZMA compression method in GZIP files
Someone sent me some new 2k15 archives to work on and try to extract anything from them. I located some zip headers and managed to parse some zip files from it but there are some other issues which i don't fully understand. I found this (which is repeated again many times in the archive) http://i.gy...

Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
The new build is still not extracting the pck files. Noting happens when i highlight the file inside the EMBB explorer and click export. I think i have never mentioned that the exported files go to C:\ and follow the struct in the embb file :D I just checked and i exported some pck and some bnk fil...

Re: Shadow Of Mordor .arch05
I updated the Explorer :D https://bitbucket.org/gregkwaste/.arch05_explorer/downloads/arch05Explorer_v0.15a.7z I am pretty sure that it can open ALL the .arch05 files and get the correct file names. Unfortunately the only file it can't handle (past the 4gb limit) is the udun.arch05 because of 32 bit...
