Got it! Fixed.
ibeckman, so there were a few pieces of Tyrael you had to get past:

A_restored_cloth
A_normal_mat
A_restored_mat
A_skeleton_mat
It now loads just fine.

You're doing nothing wrong. It seems that the models for the players have all of the items equipped, but that they are separate pieces. That goes back to my question earlier. In previous iterations, you could remove those pieces. Now, it's just one big piece. Same goes for Tyrael, there is some mode...

Are you able to actually get the .app to work with the .ani files in 3ds Max? If so, I'd love to take a look at that parser code.
