Re: Havok binary files
I believe so, it's the one that cra0 and others did for Alien Isolation . I haven't been able to test it though, I don't have that game and cra0 couldn't give me any samples since he got bored and quit a long time ago. EDIT: Awww, fuck. I didn't look closely enough, the Blender importer is only for ...

Havok binary files
Hello! I would like to ask, can anyone help me with converting 2013 Havok binary skeleton/animation files to a usable format, or at least to Havok ASCII ? I have the format pretty much figured out, I just haven't the foggiest idea on how to convert it to something usable. Here's some sample animatio...

Re: [REQ][PC]Sleeping Dogs .big files
I'm pretty sure ekey never released it, and repacking big files is impossible.
Yup, this is the kind of frustration everyone has to deal with. No wonder nobody wants to mod the game.

Re: [REQ][PC]Sleeping Dogs .big files
The .bin unpacker only works for XML .bin files.
You need to edit the files with Notepad.

Re: [REL/REQ] Sleeping Dogs Part 2: Definitive Edition
In order to extract textures from Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition we basically have to cut the texture bytes out of the .TEMP.BIN file and glue on a proper .DDS header. It's a bit of a long and obnoxious process though, so bear with me. Just a heads up, I managed to create a program that automates...

[REL] Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition Texture Extractor
After quite some time I finally was able to create an extractor for Sleeping Dogs DE .perm/.temp.bin files. To use, unpack the .BIG files with Ekey's DE unpacker , copy the texture files into the same folder as the program, then run it and copy/paste in the name of the file. Note: Texture files usua...

Re: HAVOK *.hkx
being able to convert from HKX diretcly to SMD/BVH or other directly importable format is better. If you convert it to xml you can open it in the Havok standalone tool, which can then convert into a useable format I believe. I think Shako made a post on that. But you're right, it's better to conver...

Re: HAVOK *.hkx
Well you can easily get files from Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs, Alien Isolation, and Sleeping Dogs DE. That's Havok 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 right there.volfin wrote:Also need to find more examples of various files created with various SDK versions.
And plus there's already an open-source extractor for 2010.

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
There is no tool, he did everything by hand if I remember correctly.
Also, wow, It's been almost a year and a half already. Bless shako, if it weren't for him we wouldn't have anything to this day.

Re: Alien Isolation (.PAK .BIN)
if they are raw, native .hkx files Problem is, they're always in binary format, and I've heard that it differs from game to game. I did manage to dig up a few things but nothing ever really happened since absolutely nobody was interested. I've made a thread on this topic here . It's mostly for Slee...

Re: Alien Isolation (.PAK .BIN)
This let me take a look at the skeleton files, and as I feared they are Havok *.hkx type. So most likely will not be able to create skeletons for the models. (Unless someone knows how to decode Havok 2012.2.0 HKX files). Shakotay knows how to get bones from Havok 2011 files, he's done it multiple t...

Re: bioshock series animation
There is a havok converter, but it only supports the 2010 version. Open an animation file with notepad or something and see if you can find "hk_2010.2.0-r1".

The texts are located in "UI.BIG/Data/UI/Localization/". Problem is, you can't actually do anything with them.
