Portal for PC?
I've been searching the wide web for about 3 hours and haven't found squat for extracting the PC version of Portal. This is "helped" by the use of the word portal for so many things that don't happen to be this game. :bleh: (It's just another frigging website, not a bloody portal to anything!) The g...

Re: Monopoly's huge .GCF file.
I found a freeware SWF extractor that doesn't screw up transparency. Fortop SWF Resources Extractor http://www.fortop-digital.com/product/swf-resources-extractor/ Yesssss, now my plan of combining original and here & now Monopoly may begin! (Except for the bit of needing to find downloads of the H&N...

Re: Monopoly's huge .GCF file.
Found one that appears to work. Dcomsoft SWF Picture Extractor. http://www.dcomsoft.com/ It's free, as in *free*, not a "free" download of a demo or trial version. It found 2202 images in game.swf from the original version of Monopoly. Thanks, Zench! Edit: Well poop! SWF Picture Extractor 1.7 has a ...

Re: Monopoly's huge .GCF file.
Yay! Extraction works. Appears to also work on the Here and Now version.
But now I need to find an extractor for Shockwave Flash.

Re: Monopoly's huge .GCF file.
I don't know if that would do much good. I opened the files in notepad and the contents for the two versions are completely different. Here & Now's file shows up as mostly a bunch of inverted triangles while the original version's file looks more like what I've seen opening other binary files in not...

There is no forum for that game anymore. The company that made it, o3games, is now Starbreeze Studios and doesn't answer any questions about The Outforce. Still no closer to finding the model data. Inside content.box under Units is a file named PackedProject.OPF Neither MultiEx nor Watto's can pull ...

What I'd love to find is a copy of the console commands and how to get into the built in map editor in The Outforce. Unfortunately they were only posted on the original forum for the game and I didn't save a copy before the forum was replaced and all the old posts deleted. :( Even worse is the site ...

Nope, that insists that I register. I tried the online options and those don't work. I'm on dialup.

"The Outforce" .box files.
Watto's Game Extractor is only partially working on the .box format used by "The Outforce". It will extract textures, sounds, and Bink videos but nothing else. The main file is content.box, which in the retail game is over 66 megabytes. The textures and videos Game Extractor pulls out only total abo...

The extention .o3d was used by the 3D model format in "Darkstone". The editor for that format is called MakeO3D. Google for make03d to find the editor. If that will open your files, then ask on the Darkstone Forum for help- some people have done custom models for that game and may have info on expor...
