I checked nrtbod1-model.dat and for me it looks like anim data (search for 2E0000 14 020100 which separates the file into blocks).

Re: Is it possible to use model researcher or hex2obj? / Danball Senki Chou Custom 3DS
Mesh format appears to be simple, why not try it out?

Re: Crossout [.tfd ; .tfh] and other files (10$)
I'd say so. If you uploaded a small .grp file someone could have a look at.someoneohyea wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 8:11 amUpd2: all my mdl decompiled files are 128KB, maybe script is broken? I've attached it.
Thanks!
If you have a look at this thread there's grp files without compression, but dunno whether it's different grps:

Re: Roadkill PS2 Beta Models
Well the good news is that using the ripped vertices, and enough patience, you can reconstruct the faces and recreate the meshes. Wow! Very impressive! Did you use quads? But I got a feel for what meshes are what now, so I can separate the damaged/repaired parts in blender though if that would help...

Re: Roadkill PS2 Beta Models
I've updated the zip file here so that the H2O files for the car are properly numbered for correct reading sequence /obj_creation process in/with hex2obj . (_0129.obj for example is created by _0129.h2o now) (In blender's outliner window the sorting seems spoiled again but when selecting subsequent ...

Re: Crossout [.tfd ; .tfh] and other files
image size is displayed as 2k x 1k, while filesize is 128k only.

But, simple enough, I gave it a fake DDS header to get:

Re: Crossout [.tfd ; .tfh] and other files
I have started it from Noesis and got errors (scroll up) I sent. Could you upload the tfd and the tfh sample that causes this? And yes, I know that you could see my username there, is it bad? :D Not really, but it's the internet and most if not all users I know tend to hide their real life names (f...

Re: Crossout [.tfd ; .tfh] and other files
The script is not assumed to be started from the command line. Just start Noesis.exe.
btw: your (real?) user name is displayed in your uploaded pictures.
Usually you would make it unreadable.

Re: Crossout [.tfd ; .tfh] and other files
You're talking of blender!? But "ns" is your Noesis folder? I'd suggest a fresh install of Noesis (see zip here, https://richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php&showproject=91) Tried the script without a problem: Detected file type: Crossout (v940) 2048 x 2048 0x60 :imgFm...

Re: Roadkill PS2 Beta Models
After having had a look at the auto created triangle strips I came to the insight that the solution might be quads (for the tires at least): . tire.png For the car I assume you have to separate the vertices by undamaged, _r and _rd sub meshes (but how?) before assigning quads. Wild guess: wep_frontp...
