Re: Roadkill PS2 Beta Models
why are you guys doing it from scratch when this tool's full sources were available? I don't see the point, read your own answer: :D it has came to my attention that there exists a roadkill demo , and it has models that were removed in release, and those models are of different format that isn't im...

Re: How to Get Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction Models
Xentax threads are for research, not to provide you with models. You'll need the game to get them.
(Research is done, more or less, so no need to have working links to samples any more.)

Re: NFS No Limits
the mesh have duplicate vertex that aren't connected (which makes Blender to recalculate the normals). Oh, well. I totally forgot about that! I can't believe that there were 2556 doubles in the lod00 I mentioned before, so removing doubles leads to 5431 -2556 = 2875 remaining vertices. Unbelievable...

Re: NFS No Limits
the traffic_dodge_charger has a broken normal on the right side and selecting it in edit mode fix it, but also break all the other normals (that apply to all model) well, I know you like it "perfect", so dunno if this helps: I exported the lod00 selection only as a wavefront obj file, del...

Re: NFS No Limits
For unsigned integer types, what you need to do is to normalize the values into the interval [0, 2], and then shift them into [-1, 1]. In this case for unsigned bytes, you need to edit your code like this: n1 = vertexBuffer.readByte() * 2 / 255 - 1.0; n2 = vertexBuffer.readByte() * 2 / 255 - 1.0; n...

Does it happen for special parts/models only?GreenTrafficLight wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 6:11 pmHowever, Blender doesn't apply the normals and I don't know why.

Re: IGI 1 .mef one submesh in model researcher/hex2obj
You need to get the structures before you can create a script. For your first mesh you missed the 2nd part: 0xBA8 207 Vb1 40 99 0x3398 113 020000 0x0 255 (copy above 6 lines into a text file then save it as whatever.H2O) ------------------------------------- To get further blocks search for "XT...

And don't try to go into edit mode when you select all the object, it will crash Blender instantly). Generally I'm interested in the lod00 objects only, so after selecting and moving them I could delete all the unwanted lower lods. quote from quora.com, Zachary Bingham: "The only problem arise...

Re: NFS No Limits
The first set is the normal matrix, the second could be inverse matrix data. However, I tried with the inverse matrix (they start at 0x8FD0), which is the matrix at 0xDB10, that has a y translation of 0.555474698543549 (the x coord is -1.18329133138289E-32 and doesn't move the mesh), the plastic re...
