Re: Sunset Overdrive (.model) Models

and thought the ig_model2obj.py was a converter  thank you for taking a look at the files, i'll read up on the .hkx format. All's fine, as the name tells ig_model2obj.py seems to be a model convertor. :) (I was talking about itg.c and dec.c.) I assume you have to use ig_model2obj.py on the de...

Re: Tools that can view skeleton data in hex

Well, I started the skel2SMD project 3.5 years ago, very ugly/not_user_friendly and never released. (Too many different formats/matrices for me... (: ) But you might read here (a lot to read but it's worth it :) ): "Approaches of Parsing Bone Representations" (He offers the source fo...

Re: Need help with Sopranos: Road to Respect PS2 3-d models

That's a story too long to tell. :D You could read here, though (click the up arrow): (And this is with floats instead of shorts.) Here's some auto created faces, should do better, but I'm too tired with PS2 for now: . vito_auto_face_indices.png (well, Vito's face looks like if he were from Hellrais...

Re: Reality Capture Models and Textures

.dat files start with signature "TBES". Seem to be compressed. I've found that NinjaRipper works, but it's extremely tedious and crashes a lot, especially with huge models that are upwards of 10M tris and are split into several parts. I was wondering if it was possible to convert the propr...

Re: Reality Capture Models and Textures

Hello, did you read here (starting at 12.)? (click the up arrow) Maybe it's too old, since the Ninja Ripper files are named *.rip, so dunno. (The fmt_ninjaripper_rip.py in the prerequisites is for .rip files, maybe format of .dat is different.) btw: imho it's very unlikely that someone downloads you...

Re: [C#] BML.CS - compile error

Are there any code changes related to v0.02 Latest, Dec 8, 2014? whatever. I removed the <movie_playlists> and <map_elements> from GBL_ITEM_noconflict.xml ("noconflict" is added by the tool automacticly) then created a bml file and converted that back to xml again ("recreation")....

Re: [C#] BML.CS - compile error

You could insert Console.Write("0x{0:X} ", br.BaseStream.Position); after public bool Read(BinaryReader br) { bool valid = true; at the top of the class BML in BML.cs in ReadWrapper() I replaced Console.WriteLine("Parsing child at {0}", n.Offset); by Console.WriteLine("Parsi...

I see more than you can think of. :D

I didn't speak of the code, I spoke of the file in question, that caused the error, a BML sample.
(Maybe I was not clear enough.)

(Btw, your answer came fast, that's good! welcome to the forum, btw. :) )
