Re: Prey (2017) Mimic and Weaver model conversion problem

Okay, since quite some time has already passed and no one seems to be able to help me as of yet, i figured i might actually need to give some specifications on the matter. [...] Here's all the specifics i could give. I don't know what else can i add, and i am pretty sceptical it could actually help...

Re: Extracting simple models

You should read posts more carefully:
"Just unpack the three zips "
mesh_viewer.exe is in Hex2obj_0.24e3-rel,2.zip

(Also reflect about your quoting. Don't make threads unreadable, please.)

Half floats are harder to track, this is not perfect but may serve as a starting point, using hex2obj:

Re: [release] SleepingDogs mesh extractor

I'm pretty sure no one will care except for one person only but anyways the 7 years old "perm.bin to obj" converter is available again here (click up arrow): (Sadly the perm.bin files of the " definitive edition " have changed a bit, thus the above mentioned converter doesn't wor...

Hey there, so you read through 80% of this thread to dig out a post with "404 links" that I missed to update? :D
(uploadmb.com has ceased working)

Here's the actual link to the latest files (divided up onto 3 posts), click on up arrow:

Try copying the newGameLib folder into the Blender 2.49b directory (where the blender.exe resides).
(And don't blame me if it doesn't help - as you didn't tell WHICH error you got. [roll] )

Re: Ripping Dead Space 1-3 models with animations and textures.

Alright, here, samples from all three games. well, thanks. But you wouldn't expect me to care for all those samples of all three games? :D What I ask for was a DeadSpace 1 sample which caused the script to display a weird mesh. And what do I have to say? The underlying problem can be tracked down v...

Re: Ripping Dead Space 1-3 models with animations and textures.

Using Noesis v4.433. The majority of the models are fine but some models just look wrong, like the triangles were built incorrectly. DS1_badTris.png And on some other models, Noesis gives me a python error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "F:\Noesis\plugins\python\fmt_DeadSpace1_geo.py...

I don't have 3dsmax installed, so sorry, no.

For coding I usually use the Make_obj project (click on the up arrow):

I have also fixed the triangle strip issue. I'm not interested in those models but it could help others to tell what the problem was? 8) Bumping. I've been talking to Zaykho over DM, but he/she has been too engrossed with other projects to find the time to polish the Otogi tools for public consumpt...
