Re: king of Fighters online
Didn't not refresh my browser so I couldn't read your hint. Me dumbo just puzzled uv and mesh data: 5 floats, separated as 3 for position and 2 for uv, "as always" but this time is was 2 uvs, 3 for position. But thx for your hint anyway.

Re: king of Fighters online
the mesh did not appear even NifSkope I think that's because NifSkope doesn't support 'NiMesh' so far. Wasn't as easy to adapt the script as I thought. I set nChildren to 0 when it got oversized (what caused the memory error). Then the mesh addresses below could be logged for ashe_toon.nif . (You m...

Re: king of Fighters online
I don't know which blender script chrrox was speaking of. From Szkaradek there's a kingdom-under-fire-heroes- dat-unpacker . Since I don't have the dat files I guess this unpacker just would unpack nifs from them as chrrox' script does. (There's also an importer: import-kingdom-under-fire-2011-03-12...

I'm not aware of a method but could you upload a (small) .pmp map and one or two .pmos from it, please?ErryK wrote:What I'm asking is if there has been a method or way found to view these maps from their native .pmp files or if there's another way.

Re: king of Fighters online
This is contained in the nif: http://www7.pic-upload.de/thumb/07.09.13/ev5nunlkwb6.jpg The mesh at the left is a mess but the one at the right side is o.k. edit: no, the mess is not a mess. I just displayed the uv map as 3D. Didn't realize it because it's not flat due to a strange coincidence. If yo...

Welcome to the forum!
You should provide more input. Maybe upload a map sample.

Re: CASTLEVANIA LORDS OF SHADOW "HOW TO EXTRACT MESHES"?
Still need to add the automatic assignment of the materials, but it looks like it will be just a matter of time Sry, I read this thread too late. Here's the py script from Mariusz Szkaradek, my blender script hero :D : http://www.uploadmb.com/dw.php?id=1378487497 There's a function def read_materia...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
wouldn't it be possible to simply move the pieces together manually? Yes, that means "setting the offset to 0". And I'd prefer doing this programatically rather than manually. There are a few issues to solve but maybe I can upload a tiny extractor at the end of the next week. "Tiny&q...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Thx again, but it doesn't seem to be a problem with the poly count - the char models are just buried in a "mesh coffin". And it's the same with vehicles: http://www7.pic-upload.de/thumb/06.09.13/rj2cbe1699vm.jpg I tried an exclusion depending on the vector length of vertices but guess I'll...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Does this mean that larger models like vehicles or characters are now possible, or am I being too hasty? Should be. Atm it's a numerical problem of finding the rules to exclude the unwanted vertices: http://www7.pic-upload.de/thumb/05.09.13/5p352dtiyfs.jpg And finally: http://www7.pic-upload.de/thu...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Ekey: thx for the link! I just noticed that since the briefcase can be used as a weapon it seems to have two models inside the file: a normal and a broken version. I have no idea how that will affect the process, [...] I made some progress on the briefcase: http://www7.pic-upload.de/thumb/05.09.13/3...

Perfect! Thx again. Seems to contain half floats.SergeantJoe wrote:EDIT: Here's one that's a bit bigger, a briefcase.
But I'm a little bit tired now - will try it tomorrow. Good night.

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Thx. This is a book (should be): http://www7.pic-upload.de/thumb/04.09.13/eu4fldb3bw6v.jpg But that was simple because the vertices are common. So another model won't help I guess because I had a former try on Klienod01_CopLight.perm.bin which is a very small model, too. What I got you can see some ...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
If I had a very simple model, let's say a cube, a chest, a bench or a table I could give it another try. (But they should not have any decorations/ornaments. Because that would increase the verts count.)

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
It's a shame really. It has some pretty amazing models. They were ripping models at http://forums.sleepingdogs.net afaik. Maybe you could present some (or at least a link to them) to arise some/more interest here? (Although it might be politically incorrect I dare to say: some nice babe's pic could...
