Re: Need help about .geo & .anm file formats
The model is damn low poly!! :( Hi saurav, how does it look ingame? If it's much better there you'd to search for a high poly .geo. There's a LOD with 1963 vertices: 0x19206 8373 Vb1 36 99 0x1D3B0 1963 020000 0x0 255 At offset 24 of the vertex block there are normals. The uvs are in the LOD of my p...

Re: Need help about .geo & .anm file formats
check your H2O file for typos (not required if you copyPasted from my previous post)
(The 'b' of 'Vb' has to be lower case)
Load npc_m_f_tocado-security.geo into hex2obj (v0.23)
copy H2O to model folder
then File Open H2O
press mesh button

Re: Star Wars: Ep III - RotS (*.ms2)
these are the patterns which give the .ms2 files some structure: 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0x C0 30 00 00 80 47 00 00 80 47 00 00 80 47 00 00 00 00 0x C0 30 00 00 00 45 00 00 00 45 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0x C0 30 00 00 80 46 00 00 80 46 00 00 80 46 00 00 00 00 0x C0 since m...

Re: Duke Nukem Manhattan Project GRN
I'll have to sleep now. :) Don't know whether it will help but I would suggest to add debug lines to the grnreader.cpp (just logging the addresses processed in the gr2 file.) -> edit: impossible, no access to granny2.dll Then process duke.gr2 and the cart_wheel.gr2 to get some understanding of their...

Re: Duke Nukem Manhattan Project GRN
well, thx. I had to use granny2.dll from your opening post, then duke.smd was created and could be read into a 3D app. So to sum up: o you can read static .grn meshes and convert them to SMD o For animations like duke_cartwheel.grn (0 meshes, 31 bones) grn_viewer.exe doesn't display an object but cr...

Re: Duke Nukem Manhattan Project GRN
how did you convert duke.grn to duke.gr2?
Your readme.txt says:
"grn2gr2.dll - File that can convert grn files to gr2, could possibly be used by a program to convert models"
Guess, I'd need
Granny Standard Exporter from the SDK? (which is not free?)

Re: XBM 360 model file
why do u think .XBM is a model file? For me it looks like a material file ("Xbox 360 Shader Compiler") (while matWVP VS could be the abbreviation for "matrix World view projection" for example) VS= VertexShader I would search for such structures: struct VS_OUTPUT { float4 Pos : P...

That's great, really!JakeGreen wrote:i did install blender 2.49b
Could you post the error message from the blender console window?
(Even greater it would be if you could upload the model in question.)

Re: [Request] SW The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, .mdg Model
Is it possible for someone to make a Noesis script out of this? guess it is. But who would? Doesn't make much sense (for me) if there is an existing solution. I was thinking about creating some kind of autotranslator for python 2.6 to Noesis script but I'm lacking the time. Cause i don't know jack ...

Re: Need help about .geo & .anm file formats
thx, not a problem. :) I tried out 2 Noesis plugins from finale00 but they were not suiting for this game's . geo files. This is the result using hex2obj (view link in my sig): npc_tocado_sec.jpg I handled the first submesh only. Not sure about the uv data. --------------- The second submesh (body) ...

hi,
I won't download from 4shared, sry.
There are many other uploaders (http://www.uploadmb.com/ for example)
who don't require providing personal data.
